Da Nang applies AI to quickly and effectively answer 2,100 administrative procedures

(NLDO) – Da Nang applies AI to build digital assistants and opens digital literacy courses to popularize free AI to people and officials.

On July 9, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) of Da Nang City informed about the application of AI and the use of digital assistants to answer legal documents and administrative procedures in the area.

Accordingly, the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City officially put into use the digital assistant Danang AI - a platform to support looking up administrative and social information and receiving feedback from people.

Danang AI integrates 1,721 administrative procedures performed by departments, branches, ward and commune People's Committees; along with 381 procedures belonging to the City Police and local police. This tool also provides information on socio- economics , events and official data in Danang, receives and forwards feedback to the city's Feedback Portal.

According to the Department of Science and Technology, people use Danang AI through the following channels: Danang Smart City application; Public service portal 1022.vn or https://chat.1022.vn; Scan QR code or access https://danang.gov.vn (under implementation).

At the same time, the Department of Science and Technology requested agencies and localities to update more data in the management field to expand the content of digital assistants; at the same time, communicate and guide people to use Danang AI at administrative centers, through residential groups, village chiefs or in events.

Officials, civil servants and public employees are encouraged to use Danang AI at least once a week and send feedback to improve the platform's quality. Units that need to integrate Danang AI into their internal electronic information pages can contact the Department of Science and Technology for free support.

At the same time, Da Nang has deployed the online learning platform "Digital Popularization" which is free and accessible to all subjects. Specifically, the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City has coordinated with AvocaAI to deploy the online learning platform "Digital Popularization" to popularize knowledge about AI and digital skills with an easy-to-use interface, completely free of charge.

Currently, the platform has integrated 20 lectures in the form of slides and videos, divided into four courses: "Office AI Applications" for officials and students; "Basic AI Applications - Part 1" for officials and citizens; "AI for Basic Marketing" for working people and business people; and "AI Applications for Teachers".

In the coming time, the Department of Science and Technology will continue to coordinate with partners to add specialized courses such as basic Generative AI, advanced AI marketing, AI in customer care and AI applications for professional work.

The Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City encourages cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, and association members to participate in training to improve digital capacity and AI application ability.

At the same time, it is recommended that units monitor, synthesize feedback and comments on the content and features of the platform, and send them to the Department of Science and Technology for timely adjustment and improvement to meet the needs of the people and staff.
