Provincial National Assembly delegates will organize supervision of issues of concern to voters.

(QNO) - In the recently issued 2024 monitoring and survey program, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation selected many topics related to the socio -economic development of the locality; the resolution of voters' requests and citizens' petitions.

Regarding regular oversight, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation conducted oversight of the implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security, and state budget tasks in 2024. Accordingly, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation held working sessions with the Provincial People's Committee and a number of relevant agencies and units in the province.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee will monitor several localities and units to gather information and understand the implementation of socio-economic development, national defense and security, and state budget tasks for 2024; and consider the resolution of opinions and recommendations from voters within the jurisdiction of the Provincial People's Committee and other agencies and localities under the province.

During the 7th and 8th sessions of the 15th National Assembly , in addition to reviewing reports from the Government, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and relevant agencies; and conducting interpellation and answering questions, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation participated in reviewing two specialized oversight reports: “The implementation of Resolution No. 43 dated January 11, 2022, of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies supporting the socio-economic recovery and development program and resolutions of the National Assembly on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023” and “The implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023”.

According to the 2024 program, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will conduct 5 thematic supervision sessions; among which the selected topic is "The implementation of Resolution No. 43 dated January 11, 2022, of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies supporting the socio-economic recovery and development program in Quang Nam province". The expected completion time is before January 25, 2024.

Notably, it is expected that before March 1, 2024, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will conduct a thematic supervision on "The implementation of policies and laws on reforming the organizational and management system, improving the quality and efficiency of public non-business units in Quang Nam province during the period 2018 - 2023".

In addition, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation organized thematic supervision of several outstanding cases and obstacles in resolving voters' opinions and recommendations; and handling citizens' petitions and complaints in the province. A thematic survey was also conducted on the situation of resolving citizens' complaints and denunciations (in April and August 2024).
