Dak Lak has an individual receiving the National Volunteer Award in 2025

On the evening of December 7, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union awarded the "National Volunteer" award in 2025 to 20 outstanding collectives and individuals.

In particular, Dak Lak province has 1 individual honored to receive this award, that is Ms. Duong Thi Tuyet, Head of the Krong Nang Love Bridge Club.

As the leader of the Club, Ms. Duong Thi Tuyet has built the Krong Nang Love Bridge Club into an organization with quality volunteer activities and is highly appreciated by the community.

After more than 10 years of operation, the Club has become a bridge between philanthropists and poor children, disadvantaged families, and unfortunate lives. In particular, the Club has implemented the project "Raising boarding children", built a "Milk fund for children in the highlands", carried out meaningful charity programs, especially for poor children such as: "Joy for children", "Meals with meat", "Warmth of the highlands", "Zero-dong Tet market", scholarship fund for poor students overcoming difficulties, giving goats for breeding, building houses of love... thereby bringing hope, motivation to go to school as well as joy to thousands of poor children in remote areas.

The "National Volunteer" Award is a noble award given annually by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to honor, encourage, promote and replicate typical examples who have made outstanding contributions and dedications in volunteer work for the community, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland.

Since its inception (2011) up to now, the "National Volunteer" Award has honored nearly 300 outstanding groups and individuals, recognizing the persistent contributions of domestic and international volunteers.

This year, through 233 applications from provincial, municipal youth unions, organizations and individuals across the country, the National Selection Council has selected 20 outstanding collectives and individuals in volunteer activities in 2025. The young people honored are typical representatives of Vietnamese youth today, those who are always ready to be present in difficult places, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take on new tasks.
