On the afternoon of January 10, in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the conference reviewed 1 year of implementing the coordination mechanism 303/QCPH, dated October 29, 2020 on ensuring security and order in border areas between 7 provinces and cities including Ho Chi Minh City police, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An, Tay Ninh and Tien Giang .

The Public Security of 7 provinces and cities has focused on performing its advisory function well; closely coordinating with local agencies and departments, promoting its core role, resolutely implementing many plans and strategies to fight and prevent sabotage activities of hostile and reactionary forces; proactively attacking and suppressing all types of crimes; promptly resolving complicated cases; contributing to the economic and social development of each locality.

In recent times, the coordination work to ensure security and order (SOC) between the Public Security of 7 provinces and cities has been implemented synchronously and effectively, achieving many positive results; proactive in all situations, avoiding being passive or surprised. Especially in verifying, investigating, and arresting very serious and especially serious crimes.

Based on the contents of Regulation 303/QCPH, the force systems of the Public Security of 7 provinces and cities, and the bordering areas at district and commune levels have signed regulations and coordination plans to organize implementation according to fields and areas; creating cohesion in ensuring general security and order; thereby, creating favorable conditions for units and localities in 7 provinces and cities to coordinate in work.

In the coming time, it is forecasted that the situation will face many difficulties and challenges, and criminal activities will increase and become more complicated, especially crimes related to "black credit", property fraud, "street crimes", public disorder... Currently, criminals tend to shift from "traditional" to "non-traditional" crimes with sophisticated and complicated tricks.

The police of 7 provinces and cities will strengthen the management of accommodation and areas; at the same time, have a plan to closely coordinate with neighboring areas in patrolling and administratively inspecting cultural service establishments, hotels, motels, and inns, focusing on inspecting complicated public gathering places in neighboring areas.
