A multi-billion dollar mentoring team nurtures a new generation of creative young leaders.

The CYE 2024 Young Innovative Entrepreneurship Program, organized by JCI Vietnam, officially launched on September 23rd. This is an opportunity for the young Vietnamese business community to access in-depth knowledge, receive advice from leading experts, and expand their valuable networking opportunities.

The competition is open to business owners or board members aged 18-40 from JCI Vietnam. To participate in CYE 2024, business owners must have been operating for more than 3 months but less than 3 years and have products or services that are already being sold in the market.

The "Young Innovators - JCI Vietnam" program brings together many leading consultants from across the country.

This year, the mentors and judges are all leaders of businesses with market capitalization exceeding 1 trillion VND. According to the organizers, CYE 2024 focuses on supporting young businesses in solving challenging problems in the early stages of development, such as perfecting business systems, building efficient operational structures; optimizing business models, achieving sustainable revenue growth; scaling up, managing growth effectively; and skills in preparing for and attracting investment capital.

Sharing with the media about the significance of this competition, Ms. Tran Phuong Ngoc Thao - President of JCI Vietnam - said that this is a global competition organized annually by JCI. Each country will hold a competition to select candidates to participate in the continental round, and then the most outstanding contestants will compete at the global level. As the name of the competition suggests, Creative Young Entrepreneur, the main target audience is young entrepreneurs in their creative years.

In this platform, young entrepreneurs share their innovative and bold business ideas and receive feedback from experts to refine their business models.

JCI Vietnam's Creative Young Entrepreneur 2024 competition aims to elevate the capabilities of entrepreneurs, whether they are JCI members or not. The focus of the competition lies not only in the contestants' participation but also in the mentoring and coaching rounds, where entrepreneurs receive valuable knowledge and expert feedback to enhance the competitiveness of their business models.

According to Ms. Thao, the trend of digital transformation and green transformation is currently very strong in the development of businesses. The highest level of digital transformation and green transformation in a sustainable business model is when they are integrated into the core pillars of the business, becoming inseparable.

“ During the training sessions, mentoring, and coaching, as well as in the final round when the judges evaluate the contestants, elements of digital transformation and green transformation will be integrated. This will be demonstrated through advice, opinions, and questions assessing the creativity and ingenuity of the business model,” said the President of JCI Vietnam.

She added that young entrepreneurs, young executives, and young managers trained in the JCI environment will develop practical leadership skills and make tangible contributions to their personal businesses or organizations. This is the greatest contribution of JCI in general and JCI Vietnam in particular to the business community in Vietnam.
