The 2025 high school graduation exam will officially take place on June 26-27. This is a special exam, of historical significance, as it is the first year of taking the exam according to the 2018 general education program, while ensuring the exam for students taking the exam according to the 2006 general education program.

According to data from the Ministry of Education and Training , 1,152,336 candidates have completed the exam registration procedures, reaching 99.16% of the number of candidates registered to take the exam. Of these, 22,140 candidates took the 2006 general education program, reaching 88.73%.

1.16 million candidates registered for the exam is a record number for the high school graduation exam. Compared to last year, the number of candidates increased by about 95,000, the number of exam scores increased by 170 points, and the number of exam rooms increased by 5,000.

Not only that, organizing the exam poses different challenges and requirements when the exam takes place in the context of the whole country implementing the arrangement of two-level local government.

In that context, the Prime Minister closely directed and promptly issued many telegrams and directives on the preparation and organization of the exam.
