Promote the combination of direct and online propaganda forms

Comrade Dang Hai Trieu, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, delivered a presentation at the conference.

At the conference, delegates heard a briefing from the leaders of the Central Committee's Foreign Affairs Department on the State visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam by General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and his wife, which took place on December 12-13, 2023.

The National Assembly Office leadership presented a thematic report: “Important Results of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.” Accordingly, after 22.5 working days (Phase 1 from October 23rd to November 10th ; Phase 2 from November 20th to 29th , 2023 ), the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly completed its entire agenda. The National Assembly demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, promoted democracy and wisdom, and frankly focused on discussing and resolving a large volume of important work with high consensus and agreement.

In 2023, through innovation and improved effectiveness in oral communication, resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Committee, socio-economic development results, and important political events of the country were widely disseminated to every cadre, Party member, and citizen. At the conference, delegates presented new and effective approaches to oral communication, and also proposed several suggestions to enhance the effectiveness of oral communication in the future.

In his remarks at the conference, Comrade Dang Hai Trieu, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, suggested that the Central Propaganda Department should consider adding more types of activities beyond the three tasks of organizing speaker conferences, advising on dialogues, and compiling and issuing materials for speakers. This would make speaker activities more diverse, widespread, and continuous. He also proposed changes to speaker conferences, suggesting that online conferences should only be organized for topics of a general and accessible nature, while more in-depth issues should be discussed in person…

Concluding the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy suggested that it is necessary to continue to thoroughly understand and strongly promote the role and importance of oral propaganda work and the responsibilities of the team of propagandists and speakers in the new situation; improve the quality of content and innovate and modernize the forms of information provision to meet the increasingly high demands of speakers at all levels and grassroots propagandists; combine direct and online propaganda methods; focus on improving quality and creating a clear transformation in the provision of information serving the Party's oral propaganda work… Regarding the propaganda orientation for December 2023, continue to disseminate information according to the guidance of the Central Propaganda Department; publicize foreign affairs activities and participation in important international conferences of Party and State leaders.

On this occasion, the Central Propaganda Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 10 individuals for their outstanding achievements in oral propaganda work and speaker activities in 2023.
