Currently, Bui Huu Nghia Street prohibits trucks over 5 tons from operating on the entire route (from Ong Tiep Bridge to Tan Van Bridge, Bien Hoa Ward) during the following time frames: 4-8am, 11am-1pm and 4-10pm. According to the Traffic Safety Committee of Bien Hoa Ward, it is expected that Bui Huu Nghia Street will change the time frame for banning trucks over 5 tons to 5am-10pm.

The Traffic Safety Committee of Bien Hoa Ward also proposed alternative routes. On the direction of traffic from Dong Nai Bridge to DT743A Road, to My Phuoc - Tan Van Road: vehicles move on the existing Tan Van overpass, then turn right onto Binh An Textile Industrial Cluster Road to My Phuoc - Tan Van Road (within Ho Chi Minh City). On the direction of traffic from My Phuoc - Tan Van Road to National Highway 1: Existing vehicles move normally.

The Traffic Safety Committee of Bien Hoa Ward requested the Bien Hoa Ward Police to coordinate with the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province to increase patrols and controls during the transitional time of prohibited hours (around 4:30-5:30 and 21:30-22:30) to remind and handle violations.

In addition, some vehicles will be considered for permission to circulate from 5am to 10pm by the People's Committee of Bien Hoa Ward, including: trucks transporting materials and equipment for key infrastructure projects (cannot be constructed at night); trucks transporting hazardous waste, dredged sludge, trucks transporting domestic waste (upon request of competent authorities); specialized vehicles such as vehicles transporting gasoline and oil for airport operations, and oversized and overweight vehicles.

The construction of this traffic organization plan must be consistent with the current infrastructure status; connecting with regions and areas within Dong Nai province and connecting with wards, communes and neighboring areas. At the same time, ensuring traffic safety and security, order as well as the direction of movement of vehicles must be seamless and convenient.

Before changing the ban hours, the Traffic Safety Committee of Bien Hoa Ward will hang banners to notify residents and drivers on Bui Huu Nghia Street and neighboring roads.
