Currently, Bui Huu Nghia Street prohibits trucks over 5 tons from operating along its entire length (from Ong Tiep Bridge to Tan Van Bridge, in Bien Hoa Ward) during the following hours: 4-8 AM, 11 AM-1 PM, and 4-10 PM. According to the Bien Hoa Ward Traffic Safety Committee, the ban on trucks weighing 5 tons or more on Bui Huu Nghia Street is expected to be changed to the 5 AM-10 PM timeframe.
The Bien Hoa Ward Traffic Safety Committee also proposed alternative routes. For traffic heading from Dong Nai Bridge to DT743A and then to My Phuoc - Tan Van Road: vehicles should use the existing Tan Van overpass, then turn right onto Binh An Textile and Garment Industrial Cluster Road to reach My Phuoc - Tan Van Road (within Ho Chi Minh City). For traffic heading from My Phuoc - Tan Van Road to National Highway 1: Existing traffic will continue as normal.

The Bien Hoa Ward Traffic Safety Committee requests that the Bien Hoa Ward Police coordinate with the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province to increase patrols and inspections during the transition periods between prohibited hours (approximately 4:30-5:30 AM and 9:30-10:30 PM) to remind and handle violations.
In addition, the Bien Hoa Ward People's Committee will consider granting permits for certain vehicles to circulate from 5 AM to 10 PM, including: trucks transporting materials and equipment for key infrastructure projects (which cannot be constructed at night); trucks transporting hazardous waste, dredged sludge, and household waste (as requested by the competent authority); and specialized vehicles such as those transporting gasoline and oil for airport operations, and oversized and overweight vehicles.

The development of this traffic management plan ensures compatibility with the existing infrastructure; connectivity with areas and regions within Dong Nai province and with neighboring wards, communes, and areas. At the same time, it ensures traffic safety, security, and order, as well as seamless and convenient vehicle movement.
Before changing the traffic ban hours, the Bien Hoa Ward Traffic Safety Committee will put up banners to inform residents and drivers on Bui Huu Nghia Street and neighboring roads.
