On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 19, a delegation from Hung Yen province, led by Mr. Nguyen Le Huy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited Dien Bien province to lay wreaths and offer incense in commemoration and gratitude to the heroic martyrs. Accompanying the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives from several departments and agencies of the province.

The delegation visited and offered incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Martyrs' Memorial Temple in the Dien Bien Phu battlefield. On Hill F , a historical site that witnessed some of the fiercest battles fought by the soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army, creating a launching pad for the attack on Hill A1.

At the A1 Martyrs' Cemetery, more than 600 heroic martyrs rest in peace, many of whom were sons of Hung Yen province. The delegation laid wreaths and offered incense to pay respects to the heroic martyrs.
Next, the delegation laid flowers and offered incense at the Him Lam, Doc Lap, and Tong Khao martyrs' cemeteries.

In a solemn atmosphere, with profound respect and boundless gratitude, the delegation from Hung Yen province observed a moment of silence to honor and remember the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed themselves in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people. The Party Committee, government, and people of Hung Yen pledge to uphold the revolutionary tradition, continuously unite, and strive to promote socio -economic development; to care for and improve the material and spiritual lives of the people, especially policy beneficiaries and those who have contributed to the revolution; to build a clean and strong Party Committee and government; and to build an increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.
