The second gold medal of the day on December 12th went to the Vietnamese Rowing Team thanks to the efforts of the pair Nguyen Thi Huong and Ma Thi Thuy.
Two female athletes shone on the track, brilliantly finishing first in the women's double canoe 200m event.

Earlier, athlete Nguyen Thi Huong, along with Diep Thi Huong, also won the final of the women's double canoe 500m event, "opening the scoring" with a gold medal for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the SEA Games 33. With this achievement, the Vietnamese Rowing Team has won 2 gold medals after 3 days of official competition.
The next gold medal came from Taekwondo after martial artist Bac Thi Khiem excellently won the gold medal in the women's over 67kg and under 73kg categories . In this match, the female martial artist from Son La completely controlled the match with extremely dangerous and accurate high left leg kicks.

The first round ended with a 12-6 victory for the Vietnamese fighter. In the second round, Bac Thi Khiem continued her dominance and won 11-1, thus securing a 2-0 overall victory and bringing home the third gold medal for the Vietnamese Taekwondo team at the 33rd SEA Games. Notably, this is also the third SEA Games gold medal of Bac Thi Khiem's career.

Shortly after, another gold medal came from the Karate mat. In the men's 67kg Kumite final, Khuat Hai Nam faced Thai fighter Chanchang and won convincingly 6-1. This explosive performance added the second gold medal for the Vietnamese Karate team at the 33rd SEA Games.
Gymnastics also contributed another gold medal to the Vietnamese Sports Delegation today thanks to the outstanding performance of athlete Dinh Phuong Thanh. He won the gold medal in the parallel bars event with a superior score of 12.900 – an unbeatable score with no rivals among athletes competing in this event.

This remarkable achievement brought the Vietnamese Gymnastics Team its third gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games. Notably, this is the 14th SEA Games gold medal in Dinh Phuong Thanh's career – an incredibly impressive number for any athlete.
