On the morning of July 23, comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected and directed the work of overcoming the effects of storm No. 2 in Cam Pha City.

Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, inspected the area of Three-way hamlet, Cau Go hamlet, and Tram Dien hamlet of Khe Sim village, Duong Huy commune, Cam Pha city. The area of Three-way hamlet, Cau Go hamlet, and Tram Dien hamlet currently has 116 households living around the regulating lake of Quang Hanh Coal Company - TKV, which is often flooded when it rains, affecting their lives. Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 2, the city has directed forces to regularly check, be on duty, and be ready to evacuate people to a safe place. Quang Hanh Coal Company is on duty, at the same time mobilizing equipment, machinery, and human resources to dredge, collect waste, and ensure drainage from the regulating lake. Currently, the city is making a plan to evacuate people from Khe Sim village.

After the inspection, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested Cam Pha City and Quang Hanh Coal Company to continue to arrange equipment, machinery, and human resources to clear sewers, streams, etc. to ensure drainage and stabilize people's lives. At the same time, speed up the relocation process out of flooded areas, and have a plan to resettle these households to new places that are better than their old places, based on the consensus, unanimity, and high support of the people.

Inspecting some flooded areas, ditches, and fallen trees along National Highway 18 in the city, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the city to urgently direct units to clear the flow, clean up fallen trees, and renovate the urban tree system to minimize damage during storms and ensure safety for people and property.

Faced with complicated weather developments, he also requested the city to continue to proactively respond to and promptly handle arising situations.
