According to observations, thousands of tourist vehicles and motorbikes of all kinds, along with a large number of visitors, flocked to the Mount Sam National Tourist Area. As noon approached, the crowds of people and vehicles heading for pilgrimage increased, causing localized traffic congestion on some roads such as Chau Thi Te Street and the Mount Sam Ring Road, where the front and back gates leading to the Lady of Mount Sam Temple are located.
However, the authorities, including police, militia, and security guards at the temple, promptly arrived to maintain security and order, preventing overcrowding and pushing in this sacred place.
According to folk beliefs and the religious faith of many people, visiting the Lady of Sam Mountain shrine at the beginning of the year will bring peace and good fortune.
Because the Chau Thi Te road, which passes through the back entrance of the Ba Chua Xu Temple at Nui Sam, is not closed to cars (under 30 seats) this year, vehicles entering the area were directed by traffic police to the parking lot of the nearby Nui Sam Cable Car Tourist Area, ensuring smooth traffic flow and preventing major congestion.
After paying their respects, visitors dispersed to explore and experience the Mount Sam Cable Car Tourist Area, opposite the Lady of the Land Shrine.
Moving into the inner area of the Lady of Sam Mountain Temple, thousands of pilgrims respectfully offered gifts, flowers, and incense in worship. Many said that visiting temples and shrines on the first day of the year was to pray for peace, good fortune, and tranquility for their families throughout the year.
