On July 19th, Hanoi University of Science and Technology released its predicted cut-off scores based on the aptitude test scores and the 2024 high school graduation exam scores.

Accordingly, the three majors expected to have the highest admission scores are: Computer Science (IT1), Computer Engineering (IT2), and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10). These are also the majors that have consistently had the highest admission scores at Hanoi University of Science and Technology in recent years.

Following closely behind, with cutoff scores around 27-28, are the fields of Control and Automation Engineering, Digital Space Security, and Information Technology (Vietnamese-Japanese, Global ICT, Vietnamese-French).

Many majors have cut-off scores ranging from 20 to 22.75 points, including: Environmental Engineering (EV1), Resource and Environmental Management (EV2), Materials Science and Engineering (MS-E3), and Textile Technology (TX1).

The 2024 forecast for these sectors shows a slight increase of 0.75 points compared to the 2023 forecast.

For the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, the minimum admission score for registering a nguyện vọng (preference) is 20. For the admission method based on the Thinking Skills Assessment exam scores, the minimum admission score is 50 points.

Applicants should also note the foreign language requirements when applying to programs taught in English, English language majors, and international joint training programs.

In 2024, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will recruit 9,260 students through three methods: talent-based admission (approximately 20%); admission based on the results of a thinking skills assessment test (approximately 30%); and admission based on the 2024 high school graduation exam scores (approximately 50%).

The tuition fee set by the school for full-time students enrolled in the standard program is approximately 24-30 million VND per year, an increase of 1 million VND compared to last year.

For ELITECH programs, tuition fees range from 33 to 42 million VND per academic year, while the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10) and Logistics and Supply Chain Management (EM-E14) programs have tuition fees of 64 to 67 million VND per academic year.

The English dual-degree programs have a tuition fee of 45 million VND per academic year, including registration fees.

For international programs and joint international training programs with degrees awarded by foreign partners, tuition fees range from 24 to 29 million VND per semester.

Specifically, the Business Administration (TROY-BA) and Computer Science (TROY-IT) programs, in collaboration with Troy University, consist of three semesters per academic year. Therefore, the tuition fee is 87 million VND per academic year.
