On September 22, according to information from the Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support of Ca Mau province has planned to organize the "Ca Mau Seafood Cuisine Festival 2023".

As planned, the festival is expected to take place from December 13-16, 2023, at the Central Square of Ca Mau province (Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province).

At this event, there will be activities such as: organizing cultural spaces, miniature landscapes of aquatic species; organizing stages, opening programs, music performances, screening video clips promoting typical raw material areas such as shrimp and other aquatic species.

Especially the seafood contest (shrimp eating contest, catching live octopus by hand, quickly drawing shrimp, blindfolded guessing the names of seafood species); weaving coconut leaves to create images of Ca Mau seafood as gifts for visitors.

Shrimp is one of the main seafood products of Ca Mau province.

The festival is held with about 70 food, entertainment and fresh seafood booths serving visitors.

The activities aim to create more space for entertainment and culinary enjoyment for people and tourists within the framework of the Ca Mau Shrimp Festival and the Mekong Delta OCOP Product Connection Forum in 2023.

From there, create a highlight to attract tourists, contributing to promoting the image of the land and friendly, hospitable people of Ca Mau to domestic and foreign friends.

At the same time, exploiting local culinary culture, gradually linking the parallel development of cuisine and tourism.
