Auto Service Day 2024 is one of many activities in the series of events of the Automechanika 2024 Industry and Service Exhibition, taking place in Ho Chi Minh City until June 22nd.

According to observations, the maintenance area covers approximately 500 square ^meters and has three main sections: a check-in area with complimentary refreshments, a maintenance area, and a car wash area. Many 4-7 seater vehicles such as Mazda, Toyota Vios, Xpander, etc., lined up waiting for their turn for a general inspection before undergoing individual maintenance.

To avoid congestion and long waits for car owners, the organizers have opened a registration link for specific maintenance appointments based on a numbered system.

Learning from last year's experience, the organizers have added mobile vehicle repair equipment to ensure convenience given the large number of vehicles arriving.

Mr. Pham Hong Thinh, director of Vast Media Company, said that this year, in addition to organizing free vehicle maintenance, the automotive industry social media forum (Automotive - Hui) will also organize workshops to provide knowledge about electric vehicles.

The goal is to help mechanics and end users gain more knowledge and motivation to switch to electric vehicles, thereby reducing emissions.

In addition, there is a driver's area where drivers are instructed on basic procedures for efficient vehicle operation, interior and exterior cleaning, and how to handle problems when incidents occur.

The free car repair event also attracted many accessory manufacturers. In case the car needed basic hardware replacements, the manufacturers also had replacement parts available free of charge.

Regarding replacements and repairs, the technician will discuss the details with the customer beforehand after the vehicle has undergone a thorough inspection.

For vehicles that are damaged but for which replacement parts are not readily available, technicians will recommend which components need replacing so that the owner can proactively carry out repairs afterward.
