FPT Play will exclusively broadcast most NBA games for three seasons (from 2025/26 to 2027/28) starting in October 2025. This is the second agreement reached between the company and the National Basketball Association (NBA) since 2022, making FPT Play the only domestic television service to hold the rights to broadcast the NBA for six consecutive seasons.
Notably, this agreement is the first time domestic fans have the opportunity to fully enjoy all the major basketball leagues on the planet. From the Preseason, Regular Season, Play-In Tournament, Playoffs to the NBA Finals and other special events such as the NBA All-Star Weekend, All-Star Celebrity, and NBA Draft…, all will be broadcast in international standard quality with lively and in-depth Vietnamese commentary.
Of the 209-226 games selected each season, the number of games per round will increase to 180 Regular Season games, 22-34 Playoffs games, 7 NBA Cup Finals/Play-in tournament games, and 5 Preseason games (starting in the 2026/27 season). This means that domestic audiences can enjoy exciting and captivating NBA games almost every day.
