FPT Play deletes all versions of the movie "Let Me Shine" due to suspicions of containing the "cow tongue line"

On the morning of October 3, FPT Play platform announced that it would remove and delete the entire movie "Let Me Shine" from its system due to suspicions of inappropriate images.

The announcement was made on the platform's official fan page. In the comments section,FPT Play provided a more detailed explanation.

Specifically, according to FPT Play, the series "Let Me Shine" is currently airing up to episode 15. "During the review process of the upcoming episodes, we discovered that episode 16 contained images and information that violated regulations (suspected to be related to the 'nine-dash line'). We immediately removed all of this content from the system, even though the episode had not yet aired," FPT stated.

FPT also emphasized: "We are committed to ensuring that content is strictly vetted to provide viewers with safe, compliant, and meaningful entertainment experiences."

Many viewers expressed their agreement with FPT Play and left comments such as , "Vietnam's sovereignty is one and that's a truth that will never change. If we can't watch this movie, we can watch another one," "I support FPT Play, even though the movie is good, we should just remove it," "If not this movie, there's another one, removing it is the right thing to do."

According to the Chinese Newsstand fanpage, the image allegedly containing the "nine-dash line" appeared at minutes 29-30 of episode 16. The fanpage also announced that it would stop updating information about the drama.

Let Me Shine stars two popular actors, Zhao Lusi and Chen Weiting. The film is adapted from the novel Da Qiao Xiao Qiao by Zhang Yue Ran.
