Will the Galaxy S26 Ultra receive worthwhile upgrades?

According to PhoneArena , this is seen as an implicit confirmation that the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra series will feature upgraded fast charging at 60W.

Some previous leaks suggest that the battery capacity on the Galaxy S26 Ultra will likely remain at 5,000mAh. The increase in charging power from 45W to 60W is expected to allow users to charge the device faster.

According to South Korean publication Money Today, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be announced on February 25, 2026. This is about a month later than the Galaxy S25 generation.

The Galaxy S26 generation, including the top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra, is expected to be equipped with the Exynos 2600 processor. According to Geekbench , this processor achieved 3,455 single-core points and 11,621 multi-core points. These figures are superior to those of Qualcomm and Apple chips.

For comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Elite has single-core and multi-core performance scores of 2,865 and 9,487 points, respectively. Meanwhile, Apple's A19 Pro chip has single-core and multi-core performance scores of 3,753 and 9,702 points, respectively.

According to GSMArena , the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature Color Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) display technology.

Samsung has already applied CoE display technology to several of its foldable phone models, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold3. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be the company's first bar-style phone to utilize this technology.
