Nearly 18,000 candidates compete for more than 2,000 places in Police schools.

Today, July 7, the assessment exam organized by the Ministry of Public Security took place at universities and academies of the Ministry of Public Security. Nearly 18,000 candidates took the exam at 6 universities and academies; the participation rate reached 99%.

It is known that to organize the exam, the universities and academies of the Ministry of Public Security mobilized 2,910 officers, teachers and students to serve the exam. The examination councils have prepared facilities, guaranteed conditions, exam locations, exam rooms at the exam locations according to the plan, the exam area is guaranteed to be separated from surrounding areas, has signs, ropes, and security officers are arranged throughout the exam time.

Because the exam schedule falls on a holiday, candidates can easily get to the exam site. There are no candidates arriving late, affecting the exam time at any exam council.

Candidate Trinh Doan Minh Tien, a student at Dong Thuy Anh High School, Thai Binh , was carried into the exam room by students from the People's Police Academy.

According to the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security, in 2024, the new enrollment target for regular university level of People's Public Security assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to schools is 2,150. There are 3 enrollment methods used. The first two methods are direct enrollment and direct enrollment, currently the enrollment results of these two methods are available with an insignificant number of enrollment targets.

Candidates are called into the exam room at the People's Public Security Academy.

Most of the quotas (more than 2,000 quotas) are allocated to method 3, which is the admission method combining the 2024 high school exam results and the assessment exam results of the Ministry of Public Security, in which the assessment exam results of the Ministry of Public Security account for 60%, and the high school graduation exam results account for 40%.

Therefore, the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security is very interested in organizing assessment exams to ensure fairness for candidates in the selection process.

According to the plan, the 2024 Ministry of Public Security assessment exam scores will be announced on July 18.
