As Garmin's flagship multisport GPS watch, fēnix has always been at the forefront of pioneering innovation, and Garmin continues that journey with the fēnix 8 MicroLED, the world's first smartwatch with a premium MicroLED display and inReach technology…
Garmin once again affirmed its pioneering position in the field of wearable devices by becoming the first company to successfully integrate MicroLED screens, the most advanced display technology that requires semiconductor-level precision, into smartwatches.

With over 400,000 individual LEDs (ranging in size from just 1–10 microns), the fēnix 8 MicroLED reaches up to 4,500 nits of brightness, making it the brightest and sharpest display on a smartwatch ever.
The display also features a 15% wider color gamut, 6x higher contrast, and an ultra-wide viewing angle for clear images even when viewed from an angle. Durability has also been tripled with anti-image retention and significantly improved screen life. All of this sets a new standard for displays: vivid colors, high pixel density, and excellent visibility in harsh sunlight and in all other lighting conditions.

Along with the fēnix 8 MicroLED, Garmin also introduced the fēnix 8 Pro Series (AMOLED and MicroLED), the first generation of GPS multisport watches with inReach technology. Thanks to that, users can text, call, share their location or send a global SOS via satellite or LTE, even without their phone.
So in remote areas with only satellite connectivity, the device still allows for texting and GPS signals. With LTE, the fēnix 8 Pro Series expands the experience with calling, voice messaging, LiveTrack sharing, and real-time weather updates.
In an emergency, users can activate SOS to connect directly to Garmin Response, a 24/7 global support center. This is the first time inReach technology has been integrated to connect satellites and mobile devices. Although it has not been applied in Vietnam yet, it is expected to appear soon.

The fēnix 8 Series is designed to meet diving standards, equipped with leak-proof metal buttons, durable sensor protection, MicroLED touch screen with premium titanium bezel, and LED flashlight to support observation in low light conditions.
The product integrates the most advanced Garmin features: from advanced training and performance tracking (Endurance Score, Hill Score), daily exercise suggestions, pre-installed TopoActive maps, flexible routing, to ECG application, sleep coach, Garmin Pay one-touch payment, and a series of other health monitoring and connectivity features.
With a premium design, cutting-edge display technology and a durable battery life of up to 10 days5, the 51mm fēnix 8 MicroLED not only serves sports training or exploration , but also comprehensively meets the needs of health care and an active lifestyle every day.

The product will officially go on sale on October 13, 2025 with a suggested retail price of VND 54,890,000, distributed on the website https://www.garmin.com/vi-VN/ and Garmin Brand stores in limited quantities.
