Today's coffee prices on the world market, November 27, 2024, at 4:30 AM, were updated on the Vietnam Commodity Exchange (MXV) (world coffee prices are continuously updated by MXV, matching those of exchanges worldwide; it is the only channel in Vietnam that continuously updates prices linked to exchanges around the world). The online coffee prices for today from the three main futures exchanges, ICE Futures Europe, ICE Futures US, and B3 Brazil, have been continuously updated by Y5 Cafe throughout the trading hours of the exchanges, as follows:

Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange at 4:30 AM on November 27, 2024, continued their upward trend, ranging from $65 to $95 per ton, fluctuating between $4,970 and $5,175 per ton. Specifically, the January 2025 delivery contract was $5,175 per ton (up $65 per ton); the March 2025 delivery contract was $5,114 per ton (up $78 per ton); the May 2025 delivery contract was $5,051 per ton (up $88 per ton); and the July 2025 delivery contract was $4,970 per ton (up $95 per ton).

Similar to the London exchange, Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange on the morning of November 27, 2024, also continued to rise compared to the previous trading session, increasing by 44.05 – 5.40 cents/lb, fluctuating between 295.75 – 308.85 cents/lb. Specifically, the March 2025 delivery contract was 308.85 cents/lb (up 4.05 cents/lb); the May 2025 contract was 306.30 cents/lb (up 4.05 cents/lb); the July 2025 contract was 301.10 cents/lb (up 4.80 cents/lb); and the September 2025 contract was 295.75 cents/lb (up 5.40 cents/lb).

Brazilian Arabica coffee prices on the morning of November 27, 2024, increased across several contract periods compared to November 26, rising by $6.35 to $6.70. Specifically, the December 2024 contract was $392.60/ton (up $6.70/ton); the March 2025 contract was $386.20/ton (down $1.15/ton); the May 2025 contract was $381.00/ton (up $5.35/ton); and the July 2025 contract was $373.95/ton (up $6.35/ton).

Compared to the beginning of this week's trading session (November 25th), world coffee prices have continued their upward trend. Robusta coffee saw a stronger increase, rising by nearly $200 per delivery period (approximately 4%); Arabica coffee also increased slightly by about 6 cents/lb (approximately 2%).

Global coffee supply is projected to continue declining due to several factors. For example, coffee production in Brazil is expected to decrease due to unfavorable weather conditions, and coffee inventories continue to fall. Coffee prices on November 28th are almost certain to continue rising for both Robusta and Arabica varieties. However, many experts believe this increase will be slight and gradually stabilize.

Domestic coffee prices tomorrow, November 28, 2024

Domestic coffee prices, updated at 4:30 AM on November 27, 2024, continued their upward trend compared to the previous trading session, with a sharp increase of approximately 1,700 VND/kg. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 121,700 VND/kg.

Specifically, the purchase price of coffee in Gia Lai province is 121,600 VND/kg; the highest purchase price for coffee in Dak Nong and Dak Lak provinces is also 121,600 VND/kg.

In Lam Dong province, in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, and Lam Ha, the price of bulk green coffee beans (green coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) is 121,000 VND/kg.

Today's coffee prices (November 27th) in Dak Lak province are as follows: in M'gar district, coffee is being purchased at 121,600 VND/kg, while in Ea H'leo district and Buon Ho market, it is being purchased at 121,500 VND/kg.

Domestic coffee prices have been continuously rising recently, partly due to increased global coffee prices driven by concerns about supply shortages. Another reason is that agricultural products in the Central Highlands are fetching good prices this year, with items like durian and pepper being purchased at high prices, leading many coffee farmers to hoard their produce and wait for even higher prices.

According to the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association, in the first half of November 2024, Vietnam's coffee exports (mainly Robusta coffee) reached 20,933 tons, a decrease of 44.8% in volume but an increase of 1.8% in value compared to the same period in 2023, reaching US$121.79 million.

Domestic coffee prices on November 28, 2024, are expected to continue rising, with a slight increase compared to November 27, 2024. The upward trend in coffee prices may slow down in the near future, but will remain "anchored" at a high level, and coffee exports will increase as farmers push their produce towards the end of the year.
