Mr. Tran Nguyen Minh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, said that early this morning (November 8), upon receiving information about a fake document from the Department regarding "allowing students to take a day off on November 8," the Department promptly sent notifications to relevant units and schools stating that the document was a forgery.
A fake document stating that students will have the day off today, November 8th, is circulating on social media.
"At the same time, the Da Nang Education Union's Fanpage also posted a message reminding parents and students to be cautious and only accept notifications from homeroom teachers. According to updates, the situation at schools this morning is normal, with no major disruptions...", Mr. Thanh informed.
According to observations on the morning of November 8th, the Da Nang Education Sector Trade Union's Facebook page posted a warning about the appearance of a fake document from the Department of Education announcing school closures for students circulating on social media.
This forged document announces that all students in Da Nang City will have a day off on November 8th due to heavy rain and the effects of a tropical depression… Notably, this document bears a red seal and is signed by Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Da Nang Department of Education and Training.
