Meeting of the Emulation Cluster of Journalists Associations of provinces and cities along National Highway 6 in 2024

Delegates attended the meeting of the Emulation Cluster of Journalists Associations of provinces and cities along National Highway 6 and the Professional Workshop "Journalism Economics in the New Period".

In 2024, the Journalists Association in the Emulation Cluster completed the application for the Vietnam Journalists Association to admit 25 members. The entire Cluster has 1,477 members who were granted membership cards of the Vietnam Journalists Association for the period 2021 - 2026. The Journalists Association in the Emulation Cluster has gathered, united, encouraged, and cheered on members and journalists to effectively propagate political tasks and achieved many achievements in professional activities. Local Associations have many innovations in their methods of operation, attracting a large number of members to participate. Actively coordinating with press agencies, the Center for Professional Training - Vietnam Journalists Association has organized many training courses, professional development, improving professional qualifications and modern journalism skills for cadres and members. Press agencies in the Cluster have won a number of major journalism awards. Social and charitable activities have been given attention and implemented enthusiastically.

Comrade Pham Ngoc Han, Editor-in-Chief of Dien Bien Phu Newspaper, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial Journalists Association spoke at the conference.

The conference discussed and shared good and creative ways of doing things that brought high efficiency in the emulation movement and activities of the Provincial Journalists Association. Cooperated and applied the experiences of each organization to cultivate and continuously develop to meet the current digital transformation of journalism.

Leaders of Journalists Associations of provinces and cities along National Highway 6 signed a competition agreement for 2025.

Comrade To Quang Phan, Chairman of the Hanoi Journalists Association, presented the rotating flag to Comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha, Director of Radio and Television Station, Vice Chairman of the Lai Chau Provincial Journalists Association - the host unit of the cluster in 2025.

At the conference, representatives of the leaders of the Journalists Associations of 5 provinces and cities in the Emulation Cluster signed the emulation agreement for the year 2024 - 2025. On this occasion, the Hanoi Journalists Association handed over the task of cluster leader of the Emulation Cluster of Journalists Associations of provinces and cities along Route 6 in 2025 to the Lai Chau Provincial Journalists Association.
