Hanoi: Most processing and manufacturing industries increased in the first 8 months of 2025

Hanoi's industrial production index in August is estimated to increase by 1% over the previous month and by 8.2% over the same period in 2024, of which the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 1.4% and increased by 8.3%; electricity production and distribution decreased by 1.1% and increased by 6.5%; water supply, waste and wastewater treatment decreased by 4.3% and increased by 9.8%; the mining industry increased by 0.1% and decreased by 0.1%.

It is estimated that in the first 8 months of 2025, Hanoi's industrial production index increased by 6.5% over the same period last year, of which the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 6.7%; electricity production and distribution increased by 5%; water supply, waste and wastewater treatment increased by 7.1%; and the mining industry decreased by 4.2%.
