That shows that Khanh Hoa province's industry continues to maintain positive growth momentum despite market fluctuations and the impact of natural disasters.
Of which, the mining industry recorded an increase of 12.64%, while the processing and manufacturing industry continued to be the main growth driver with an increase of 9.74%. Many key production sectors continued to flourish, such as food processing up 3.74%; production of beds, cabinets, tables and chairs up 6.88%; production of drugs, pharmaceuticals and medicinal materials up 7.94%; and production of means of transport up 11.71%.
In particular, industries with breakthrough growth include wood processing and production of products from wood, bamboo and rattan, up 19.93%; beverage production up 20.57%; textile industry up 32.34%; other processing and manufacturing industries up 46.42%; repair, maintenance and installation of machinery up 95.53%; production of rubber and plastic products up 2.47 times; production of chemicals and chemical products up 4.14 times.
Besides bright spots, there are still some industries that have decreased, such as leather and related products production down 15.12%; non-metallic mineral products production down 22.94%, reflecting the differentiation in the recovery of production sectors.
Entering December, the industrial production index is forecast to face many challenges as a series of businesses were heavily affected by the recent floods. Many factories and machinery need time to repair and restore to be able to return to normal operations.
However, with the growth momentum recorded in 11 months, the province's industry still maintains a solid foundation for the year-end production plan and development orientation for 2026.
