The 55-year journey of Minh Long I Co., Ltd. started from the dream of a 12-year-old boy. That is Mr. Ly Ngoc Minh, founder and Chairman of the Board of Members of the company. The moment he first saw the exquisite ceramic works at an exhibition in Lai Thieu, it ignited in Mr. Ly Ngoc Minh the “dream of creating a revolution for the Vietnamese ceramic industry”.

That dream would only be a dream without action. The biggest turning point came when his mother decided to spend 3 taels of gold, almost all of the family's assets at that time, for him to build his first "laboratory". From then on, the young artisan began his journey of self-study, self-research, and traveling to ceramic powerhouses such as Germany, Japan, and China to learn the quintessence.

“This journey began when the first factory was built from the simplest materials: thatch, bamboo, leaves, and corrugated iron. I never learned how to build or operate a factory properly, I simply learned while doing, demolishing 5-6 times to correct mistakes and gradually perfect them,” artisan Ly Ngoc Minh recalls.

Perseverance and the desire for innovation have transformed the once simple factory into a state-of-the-art production complex. After three decades of research, Minh Long has completely mastered the single firing technology at 1,380°C according to the highest German standards.

Minh Long’s difference lies in its ability to control the entire closed production process from A to Z: self-producing clay, glaze, molds, floral paper, and electromechanics. This is a closed system that is difficult for any company in the world to do. This technology not only optimizes costs but also creates products of superior quality.

In terms of whiteness and hardness of the product, Minh Long is number one in the market. There is no ceramic product in the world that has such a wide range of colors. Especially in the high temperature firing segment, Minh Long is the only unit that can create a full range of colors to show a picture as realistic as a photo.

Having conquered the pinnacle of technology, Minh Long continues to expand its mission to the health-preserving ceramic line. With breakthrough products such as 900°C heat-resistant ceramic pots that can be used on induction cookers, ceramic chopsticks, health-preserving cups... Sail for a new journey

In early 2025, to mark the 55th anniversary, Minh Long inaugurated the Ceramic Museum on an area of 120,000 square meters. This is not only a showroom but also a cultural project preserving Vietnamese heritage with record works crafted over 20 years: a 99-meter-long relief, a 4.5-meter-long monolithic jade cup, a 1-ton porcelain chandelier...

"I hope the world will know that Vietnam also has beautiful ceramic works, created by talented people. From now on, Vietnamese people will be completely proud of their country's ceramic culture and techniques," said Minh Long founder.

Also on this occasion, Minh Long officially announced its new brand logo. The symbol of a sail filled with wind is stylized from stacked ceramic plates, fully expressing the brand's philosophy: always rooted in traditional heritage but constantly innovating to reach out to the ocean. The new logo is an affirmation for the next journey, where Minh Long continues to spread the quintessence of Vietnamese ceramics to the world.

Minh Long’s success is built on a foundation of strong investment in science and technology. The company has invested heavily in science and technology, successfully applying many advanced technologies: automatic shaping and enameling robots, pressure drying technology that reduces production time by 30%, energy-saving firing technology and exhaust gas treatment systems that meet European standards.

The company has registered and been granted a patent for high-temperature resistant ceramic bone blending technology, antibacterial nano-glaze invention and high-pressure forming solution. These achievements help the product have outstanding durability and sophistication, meeting international standards.

From 2020 to 2025, Minh Long was continuously voted as “High-quality Vietnamese goods” and “National brand”. In 2022, the enterprise was awarded the Innovation Award, in 2023 it was honored as one of the Top 10 Outstanding Science & Technology Enterprises nationwide, and received the Green Economy Award for its contributions to clean production.
