Navy Squadron 129 gives gifts to poor students overcoming difficulties in Dong Thap

On the morning of December 8, in Vinh Huu commune, Dong Thap province, a working delegation of the 129th Naval Squadron led by Lieutenant Colonel Bui Ngoc Sang, Political Commissar of the Squadron, attended the flag-raising ceremony and visited and presented gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties at Nguyen Thi Tot Primary School.

Attending the delegation were comrade Pham The Vinh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, local government leaders and school staff and teachers.

The program is part of a series of activities to prepare for the signing ceremony of the coordination program on sea and island propaganda between the 129th Navy Squadron and the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, expected to take place in the near future.

At the ceremony, Squadron 129 coordinated with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee to present 15 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to poor students who have overcome difficulties at Nguyen Thi Tot Primary School.

The gifts show the hearts and feelings of the officers and soldiers of the Navy, contributing to encouraging the children to make efforts in studying and training.

The Commander of the 129th Naval Squadron presented Nguyen Thi Tot Primary School with a picture of Uncle Ho when visiting the Navy.

On this occasion, General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, authorized the 129th Naval Division to present 32 tablets and accessories to support the school in improving facilities, teaching conditions and providing better care for students.

Representatives of the Board of Directors of Nguyen Thi Tot Primary School thanked the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and the officers and soldiers of Navy Squadron 129 for their attention, affirming that this is a great source of motivation for the school to continue to strive and successfully complete its educational tasks.
