The young man's actions received much praise from the online community.

A Facebook user commented: "While many other people "stormed" and left it on the road, this young man brought it back and even smoothed it out. A very civilized and respectful act for the sacred flag of the Fatherland."

The character in the clip is Hoang Dinh Nhat (born in 2005, from Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province). Nhat is currently a student at a university in Vinh city. He was surprised when he suddenly became famous on social networks.

Nhat recounted that on the evening of January 5, after the Vietnamese team won, he and a friend "borrowed" a household's flag to "go storm".

"At around 0:15 on January 6, I returned to my boarding house and returned the flag I had borrowed from the landlord. The clip was recorded by a friend who was with me so that if anyone else took it, we could show the clip to prove that it had been returned. My friend then posted the clip on social media.

I thought I borrowed the flag and should return it to the homeowner, but I didn't expect everyone to pay so much attention to this matter," Nhat shared.
