Form at least 5 innovation clusters by 2025

The Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises aims to form at least five innovation clusters in strategic sectors by 2028, while increasing the proportion of enterprises participating in science and technology activities, promoting innovation and digital transformation.

The Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises aims to form at least five innovation clusters by sectors by 2028.

This is one of the tasks set by the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises in its second term (2025-2030), presented at the association's National Congress held on December 5.

Accordingly, the goal in the coming period of the association is to continue developing the membership network, increasing the rate of participating science and technology enterprises; 80% of business leaders have proactive thinking about innovation and digital transformation; 60% of businesses have regular innovation activities; at least 10 businesses become typical national science and technology enterprises.

“By 2030, support at least 30 innovative technology start-up projects. The Association will become a prestigious policy consulting and review organization in the fields of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation,” the association representative emphasized.

In the context of the country entering a new era, the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises also aims to become a pioneer in implementing Resolution 57 on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; at the same time, contributing to the implementation of the goals of Resolution 68 on private economic development.

According to Professor, Doctor, Hero of Labor Hoang Duc Thao, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises , in its first term, the association has gathered a large number of scientists, experts and prestigious technology enterprises; organized many events, forums, and seminars domestically and internationally, contributing to promoting the capacity of Vietnamese enterprises; attracting new members and expanding the cooperation network.

The Association has increasingly gained prestige with management agencies, enterprises and partner organizations; and has been assigned to carry out a number of tasks related to science and technology enterprises. In addition, the number of members has grown positively, the network of activities has expanded in both scale and field. Business support activities are increasingly diverse such as policy consulting, trade promotion, human resource training, technology sharing, and international connections./.
