(Dan Tri) - Poor households in rural areas in Ho Chi Minh City are supported with 30-90 million VND when buying or renting social housing, depending on each case.


The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued Regulations on supporting the sale, hire-purchase, and rental of social housing for poor and near-poor households in rural areas and poor and near-poor households in rural areas in areas frequently affected by natural disasters and climate change in the city.

Accordingly, the support level of Ho Chi Minh City for each case is as follows:

Regulations on poor and near-poor households receiving this support are based on the resolution of the City People's Council on the Sustainable Poverty Reduction Program of Ho Chi Minh City for each specific period.

Currently, the poverty line of Ho Chi Minh City is applied according to Resolution 15/NQ-HDND which was just approved by the 10th Ho Chi Minh City People's Council at the 17th session, officially taking effect from October 1, 2024.
