On December 4, at the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education (TTGDNN-GDTX), Binh Kien ward, Dak Lak province, Vietnam Education Publishing House (NXBGDVN) and its member units donated books to schools affected by natural disasters and floods in the province.
In order to contribute to supporting students as well as the education sector of Dak Lak province to quickly overcome the consequences of the historic flood in November, the Vietnam Education Publishing House organized a program to donate textbooks to students of schools affected by natural disasters and floods in the province.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Dang Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Education Publishing House shared: Recently, unusual weather developments have caused prolonged heavy rains, landslides, floods, and serious inundation in the South Central and Central Highlands, including Dak Lak province. This flood not only seriously damaged the physical facilities of many schools but also caused hundreds of thousands of students to lose their books and school supplies, greatly affecting their learning and living processes.
Faced with these difficulties, NXBGDVN quickly developed a plan to donate books to join hands to support and share with the students and teachers here. This book donation program is not only a material support, but also demonstrates the spirit of "mutual love", the responsibility of the enterprise towards the education sector and towards the students. We hope that the students will soon stabilize their spirit and continue to study better.
On behalf of the provincial education sector leaders, Ms. Vo Thi Minh Duyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province respectfully expressed her thanks to the sponsors. At the same time, she affirmed that this is a very meaningful and timely source of support to help students stabilize their studies soon after the recent natural disaster.

At the program, the Vietnam Education Publishing House presented 366,225 textbooks, worth more than 5.3 billion VND, to schools severely affected by storms and floods in Dak Lak province.
Also within the framework of the program, Da Nang Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (two member units of Vietnam Education Publishing House) supported 17,093 English books worth more than 771 million VND.
Continue to accompany students in flood-affected areas
It is known that, along with supporting books for Dak Lak province, NXBGVN is still providing urgent support to Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai provinces and some provinces affected by storms and floods, ensuring that no student lacks textbooks, helping them quickly stabilize their studies.
On the same day, in Gia Lai province, the Vietnam Education Publishing House organized a program to donate textbooks to local students severely affected by floods in 2025. The activity has profound humanitarian significance, contributing to timely support for students and schools to overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize learning after natural disasters.
The Vietnam Education Publishing House continues to donate 271,161 textbooks, worth VND 3,821,086,500 to primary, secondary and high schools heavily affected by natural disasters in Gia Lai province. This is the largest scale and value of support ever in the program of supporting textbooks for students in disaster areas of the Vietnam Education Publishing House.
In addition, within the framework of the program, Binh Dinh Book and Equipment Joint Stock Company - a member unit of Vietnam Education Publishing House - also donated books to school libraries in the province with a total value of 100,000,000 VND, contributing to supplementing learning materials and improving the quality of education for the locality.
According to the representative of the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province, the recent floods have caused serious damage to school facilities as well as books and learning materials for students. Many students are in difficult circumstances when entering the new school year in conditions lacking both materially and spiritually. Therefore, the timely support from the Education Publishing House of Vietnam is of practical significance, helping students soon have enough textbooks to continue their studies.
The book donation program not only demonstrates the social responsibility of a business closely associated with the education sector, but also spreads the spirit of sharing and mutual love in the community. The books given away today are not only learning materials, but also a message of faith and hope, adding motivation for students in flood-affected areas to confidently go to school.
In the coming time, NXBGDVN will continue to implement similar support activities in many localities affected by natural disasters and floods, contributing to joining hands with the entire education sector to overcome difficulties, stabilize and develop sustainably.
