The opening ceremony was lively, with teachers and students excited and enthusiastic as they embarked on the new school year. Currently, the school has nearly 2,000 students in 45 classes.

Attending this year's special opening ceremony, Tran Ngoc Anh Thu, class president of class 12.8 at Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School (Tan Dong Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), expressed: "This year, being able to hold the opening ceremony along with the rest of the country, I feel very excited. In class, we watched it live on projector, and the atmosphere was joyful and solemn. This year, instead of the principal giving a speech and ringing the bell, we heard General Secretary To Lam give a speech, offer advice, and ring the bell to officially open the school year. I hope that this school year, the whole class will study well together, achieve high results, graduate, and get accepted into our first-choice university in the entrance exam."

Mr. Ta Van Tam, Principal of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School (Tan Dong Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), shared: "This year's opening ceremony was truly special as the entire school participated online along with the rest of the country. Students watched the live program on VTV1 right in their classrooms, sharing the joy at the same time. A new feature was that instead of giving flowers, benefactors gave encouraging gifts to students from disadvantaged backgrounds and those who achieved high entrance exam scores for grade 10. In particular, the fundraising activities to support people affected by typhoons No. 4 and No. 5 were enthusiastically supported by city and local leaders, teachers, and students, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual support and compassion. This helped students learn to share, love, and live for others more."

Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School (Tan Dong Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storms and floods.

Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School, which opened in the 2020-2021 school year, is located in Dong Thanh neighborhood, Tan Dong Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly part of Di An city, Binh Duong province). The school impresses with its modern architecture, a departure from traditional designs. The buildings are interconnected in a circle, facilitating easy movement for students between classrooms and the library without worrying about rain or wind. The spacious, green campus, along with its harmonious architecture, creates an inspiring learning environment. Notably, students neatly leave their shoes outside in the hallway before entering the classroom, contributing to a clean and tidy learning environment.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, amidst the nationwide effort to promote the implementation of two-session-per-day teaching at the lower and upper secondary levels as required by the Ministry of Education and Training, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to review and prepare the conditions for implementing the city's breakthrough projects and programs such as: the "Bringing Artificial Intelligence into Schools" project, the "Digital Education" program, the implementation of a digital competency framework for teachers and students, and the development of the Digital School Model… to meet the demands of educational reform and the growing number of students.

In particular, promoting digital transformation was identified as a key task right from the beginning of the school year. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training emphasized the continued implementation of the "Project to strengthen the application of information technology and digital transformation in education and training in the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030"; while also focusing on innovating school management and administration towards democracy, discipline, order, improving the quality and effectiveness of education; and completing the industry's database, ensuring synchronization and interoperability.

In addition, the education sector is promoting administrative reform and applying information technology in online and television-based teaching, as well as in testing and evaluation. Digital transformation in managing students' academic and behavioral performance and developing a digital library system are also prioritized...
