The City Women's Union announces decisions regarding organizational and personnel matters.

DNO - On July 8th, the Da Nang City Women's Union held a conference to announce decisions on the establishment of the City Women's Union and the Women's Unions of 93 wards and communes; and decisions on the appointment of personnel for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and key positions.

Attending the event were Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City; and Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City.

According to Decision 5798/QD-DCT dated June 25, 2025, of the Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Da Nang City Women's Union was established on the basis of merging the former Quang Nam Provincial Women's Union and the former Da Nang City Women's Union, effective from July 1, 2025.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Da Nang City Women's Union for the 2021-2026 term is appointed, consisting of 55 members; the Standing Committee consists of 17 members. Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong, Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, City Party Committee Member, and former President of the Da Nang City Women's Union, is appointed as President of the Da Nang City Women's Union for the 2021-2026 term.

The following five comrades have been appointed as Vice Presidents of the Da Nang City Women's Union for the 2021-2026 term: Luong Thi Dao; Nguyen Thi Huyen; Tran Thi My Phuong; Dang Thi Bao Trinh; and Le Thi Anh Nguyet.

The conference also announced the Decision of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City on the establishment of the Women's Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City; announced the decision appointing the Inspection Committee of the Da Nang City Women's Union, term 2021-2026, consisting of 6 people; and simultaneously announced the decision to establish Women's Unions in 93 wards and communes under the Da Nang City Women's Union.
