On the morning of December 15th, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers held a conference to summarize the association's work in 2023 and to plan tasks for 2024.

Representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Internal Affairs, and the Provincial Youth Union also attended.

In 2023, the various levels of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers organized serious and high-quality association activities, adhering to the Charter of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Vietnam. They also successfully organized activities to educate and inform members through diverse forms and content that were meaningful and practical.

Extensively deploy and effectively organize the implementation of the two emulation movements "For the sake of camaraderie, each former Youth Volunteer member does many good deeds" and "Former Youth Volunteers excel in economic activities , for the sake of camaraderie" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Former Youth Volunteers Association.

The Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers has mobilized funds for the "Comradeship and Solidarity" fund, totaling nearly 7.5 billion VND. Simultaneously, they have connected with sponsors to secure support for the construction of 27 new houses of compassion, totaling over 2.4 billion VND, and donated 3,998 gift packages worth over 1.5 billion VND.

In 2024, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers will continue to promote the campaign "Former Youth Volunteers setting a shining example, studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh"; organize activities for the sake of camaraderie and mutual support to overcome difficulties; fulfill the role of historical witnesses; actively participate in local campaigns and emulation movements, participate in disseminating revolutionary traditions to the younger generation; and consolidate and build a strong association...

Mr. Hoang Dung Thang, Chairman of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Cam Nhuong commune (Cam Xuyen district), shared the association's approach to activities demonstrating camaraderie and mutual support. He also expressed his hope that the Party committee and government would pay attention to providing allowances for association officials at the grassroots level.

At the conference, delegates also contributed ideas to further strengthen the association's work, and expressed their hope to continue receiving the attention of the Party committee and government, both in spirit and in material resources, so that the association's work can be more effective.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Former Youth Volunteers Association awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 13 individuals from the Provincial Former Youth Volunteers Association for their outstanding achievements in the "Major Campaign and Two Emulation Movements of the Association in 2023"; the Provincial Former Youth Volunteers Association also awarded certificates of merit to 23 collectives and 38 individuals from the former youth volunteers associations of districts, cities, and towns for their outstanding achievements in association activities in 2023.
