Today, the National Assembly Standing Committee questioned two groups of fields.

The question and answer session lasted until the morning of August 22 at Dien Hong Room, National Assembly House and was broadcast live to 62 delegations from provinces and cities with 2 groups of fields:

The first group of areas: implementation of resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023 in the following areas: 1) agriculture and rural development; 2) industry and trade; 3) culture, sports and tourism.

The second group of fields: the implementation of resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023 for the second group of fields, including the fields: 1) justice; 2) internal affairs; 3) security, order, and social safety; 4) inspection; 5) court; 6) prosecution.

The Deputy Prime Minister authorized by the Prime Minister will speak, clarify a number of related issues under the Government's responsibility and directly answer questions from National Assembly deputies.

The questioning will not be conducted in groups of issues as in regular meetings, but will question members of the Government and heads of relevant sectors about the shortcomings and limitations in implementing resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on thematic supervision and questioning from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023.

The content of the National Assembly delegate's questioning on the issue under the responsibility of an individual will be directly answered by that individual under the direction of the Chairman; the person answering the question does not present a report, but can speak on the question no more than 5 minutes before the National Assembly delegate begins the questioning; each turn has 3 to 5 delegates asking questions, each delegate asking questions for no more than 1 minute; the person being questioned answers for no more than 3 minutes/1 question content.

During the questioning process, National Assembly deputies have the right to debate with the person answering the question to clarify issues that have been answered but are not satisfactory; the debate time shall not exceed 2 minutes.

At the end of the questioning session, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued a resolution as a basis for implementation.

The question and answer session was broadcast live on Voice of Vietnam Radio and televised live on Vietnam National Assembly Television and Vietnam Television for voters to follow and monitor.
