The festival attracted more than 150 officers and staff of Military Hospital 87 to participate in blood donation. The amount of blood donated was nearly 150 units. This blood source will be added to the blood reserve to provide to hospitals in Khanh Hoa province to perform emergency and treatment work for patients.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thi Hanh - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Hospital 87, in recent years, implementing the directive of the Ministry of National Defense on organizing voluntary blood donation in the army, this is the second time the hospital has organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Day. In addition to the above activities, the hospital has always proactively mobilized reserve blood sources from officers, employees, soldiers and workers in the hospital to quickly respond to emergency situations when needed. In the coming time, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of Military Hospital 87 will continue to direct mass organizations to develop plans and widely deploy them among officers, employees, soldiers and workers of the unit to actively participate in voluntary blood donation and register on the hospital's reserve blood list.
