Opening of the street festival with the theme "Colors of the sea"

(GLO)-On the afternoon of August 31, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon Ward), the People's Committee of Gia Lai province opened a street festival with the theme "Colors of the ocean".

This is one of the highlights within the framework of the 2025 Festival of the Quintessence of the Great Forest - Convergence of the Blue Sea.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors along with a large number of people and tourists.

The art performances in the festival were elaborately staged, bringing together many unique genres. The opening was the suite “Quy Nhon, Gia Lai - Landscape Painting” and the song “Gia Lai, Golden Forest, Green Sea”, depicting the harmony between the vast mountains and forests and the immense ocean.

Next is the gong performance by the Pleiku Roh village artisans (Thong Nhat ward), the art of hát bội and bài chòi performed by artisans in the eastern region of the province, along with the vibrant performance of 40 artists and professional dance groups from Ho Chi Minh City with modern dance, carnival, clown circus, juggling, bicycle acrobatics...

The highlight is the group of more than 200 artisans, artists, students and the community participating in the parade on the central streets of Quy Nhon coastal city such as: An Duong Vuong, Xuan Dieu, Le Thanh Ton, Nguyen Hue, Le Hong Phong, Tang Bat Ho, Nguyen Tat Thanh... before returning to An Duong Vuong street.

More than 15 flower floats, model cars, gong and bai choi performers, dance troupes, students and locals brought a bustling and colorful festival atmosphere.

With the theme “Colors of the Ocean”, the 2025 street festival not only creates a vibrant space, rich in music and art, but also spreads the message of love for the homeland, traditional cultural identity and new vitality of Gia Lai land.

This is a cultural - tourism event for domestic and international tourists to experience the intersection between sea - forest culture, between tradition and modernity, contributing to promoting the colorful image of Gia Lai tourism to friends near and far.
