According to the report at the conference, the Hai Waterfall site, located in Hamlet 6, Ea Rok Commune, Dak Lak Province (formerly Ia Jloi Commune, Ea Sup District, Dak Lak Province), was discovered in 2020. This site has been excavated three times: the first time in March 2021; the second time from November 2021 to May 2022; and the third time from June to August 2024.
During the fourth excavation, which took place from May 5th to June 26th, the excavation team collected a wealth of artifacts and relics of significant scientific value.
Specifically, phase 4 unearthed a total of 1,219 artifacts, including: grinding stones (flat/concave), whetstones/grinding stones, support tables, axes/adstools, tool fragments, stone knife/saw fragments, drill bits, broken pieces of jewelry, glass beads, tubular beads, stone cores, drill bit blanks/sketches, etc.
All these artifacts are currently preserved at the Dak Lak Museum for scientific research purposes.

Based on continuous surveys and excavations since 2021, the Dak Lak Museum, the lead unit, continues to plan and accelerate the excavation and relocation of relics and artifacts at the Thac Hai site before this important archaeological site faces the risk of destruction due to the impact of weather, climate, and floods.
In addition, the Dak Lak Museum plans to organize large-scale scientific seminars to research and further clarify the immense cultural and historical value of the site.
