On the afternoon of October 4th, the atmosphere at Tien Son Sports Arena (Da Nang City) became more heated than ever as thousands of spectators filled the entire stands to watch the finals of the PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Cup 2025 international pickleball tournament.

From early afternoon, a large number of fans flocked to the Tien Son Sports Arena ( Da Nang City). Very quickly, the seats in the stands were filled, creating a lively scene.

The organizers aim to set a Guinness World Record for "The largest live audience at a pickleball event" on October 4, 2025 - an unprecedented milestone for the sport globally.

The stands were almost completely filled with spectators. Many fans spilled out onto the walkways to watch the athletes compete. Every spectacular shot from the players... Tyson McGuffin, Zane Navratil… all set the stands ablaze. Cheers erupted in waves, along with throngs of people spreading throughout the stadiums.

In particular, the men's doubles final between Zane Navratil and Armaan Bhatia against Tyson McGuffin and Eric Oncins attracted special attention from the audience.

Ms. Nguyen Ha (32 years old, a tourist from Hanoi), who arrived with her friends in the early afternoon, shared: "I managed to fly to Da Nang just to watch the finals. Every brilliant shot by the world's top athletes made the audience jump up and cheer as if they were watching the final of a football tournament. The atmosphere was truly explosive ."

Many groups of fans carried banners and name tags of the athletes and continuously chanted the names of their favorite tennis players. At times, the entire arena resounded with applause that lasted for minutes, creating an incredibly lively atmosphere.

This is the first time Da Nang City has been chosen to host the PPA Tour Asia - MB Vietnam Cup 2025 international pickleball tournament, featuring top players from around the world.

According to the organizers, this is the largest pickleball tournament in Asia in terms of prize money ($150,000), number of participating athletes, and audience size. Nearly 600 professional and amateur players from Vietnam and around the world are participating.
