Khanh Hoa launches tourist information support center

(Fatherland) - On the afternoon of November 11, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism introduced the Tourist Support Information Center, providing necessary information for tourism in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.

The Khanh Hoa Province Tourist Information and Support Center will start operating from November 2024, at https://ttdhsdl.khanhhoa.gov.vn. This is a project within the digital transformation plan of Khanh Hoa tourism industry, implemented from 2022.

Many utilities are integrated at the Tourist Support Information Center of Khanh Hoa province.

The operation center is divided into two parts, one is the business management page dedicated to system administrators, business staff and businesses; the other is the page serving tourists.

Currently, when accessing the above website, all necessary information for tourism in Khanh Hoa can be found. Tourists can look up accommodation facilities; travel agencies; tour guides; restaurants; entertainment venues; tourism resources; tourism products; shopping venues; business data; cultural festivals; cultural events;... in many different languages.

In addition, visitors can ask questions directly to the Center Support Staff; report emergency situations to the authorities;... Businesses and business establishments can also introduce products, offer promotions and other utilities.

Tourists can easily access the Khanh Hoa Province Tourist Support Information Center via mobile devices.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism, said that the establishment of the Operation Center creates a unified information channel, focusing on supporting destinations for tourists, allowing connection with other information systems and social networks to support tourists, overcoming the shortcomings of existing software and information systems, increasing interactive experiences for tourists, creating convenience for the management and operation of specialized agencies.

In addition, the Operation Center also overcomes current limitations in operations, handles issues supporting tourists, aims for a smart and safe tourism environment; monitors and ensures security and safety for tourists.

Khanh Hoa province currently has 1,189 tourist accommodation establishments with nearly 66,185 rooms, of which more than 40% of the rooms are 3-5 star. There are more than 230 travel service businesses, of which 187 are international travel businesses.

Along with that are 266 travel service businesses and 640 contract vehicles from 10 to 29 seats, 778 vehicles with over 29 seats and 1,145 inland waterway vehicles transporting passengers.

In the first 10 months of 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed about 9.5 million overnight visitors, an increase of 55.3% over the same period in 2023 (exceeding 6% of the 2024 plan). Total tourism revenue is estimated at more than VND 47,000 billion, an increase of 63% over the same period (exceeding 17.2% of the 2024 plan)./.
