The Department of Food Safety and Hygiene - Hung Yen Provincial Department of Health issued Document No. 481/ATTP-NV on October 6, to widely inform and recommend people to absolutely not buy or use fake or poor quality vegetable oil products bearing the following brands: CHICA Vegetable Oil, CHICA Soybean Oil, TAMIN GOLD Vegetable Oil, GOLDMAX Vegetable Oil, GOOD Vegetable Oil and MEGAFOOD Vegetable Oil.

At the same time, the Hung Yen Province Food Safety and Hygiene Department has notified food safety management agencies and units nationwide that the products bearing the above-mentioned trademark have been distributed to many provinces and cities; requesting agencies and units to widely inform the people and coordinate in monitoring the circulation of these products in the management area.

Previously, on September 11, 2025, the Investigation Police Agency (Hung Yen Provincial Police) issued a Decision to prosecute the case of manufacturing counterfeit food, foodstuffs, and food additives that occurred in 2025 at GF Vietnam Food Company Limited (Yen Phu village, Nguyen Van Linh commune, Hung Yen province).

Through the investigation process, it was determined that GF Vietnam Food Limited Liability Company (Yen Phu village, Nguyen Van Linh commune, Hung Yen province) had produced CHICA vegetable oil, CHICA soybean oil, TAMIN GOLD vegetable oil, GOLDMAX vegetable oil, GOOD vegetable oil and MEGAFOOD vegetable oil which were poor quality and counterfeit products. These products were distributed to many provinces and cities across the country...
