Accordingly, Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee identified this as an activity to review the glorious tradition, important and great contributions, and noble mission of the Vietnamese revolutionary press in the struggle for national independence, national reunification, and the construction and protection of the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland. It is an opportunity to commend, honor, and show gratitude to generations of journalists and press agencies with outstanding achievements; to foster andeducate pride and love for the profession for today's journalists.

Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee also identified this as an opportunity to propose amendments, supplements, and promulgate mechanisms, policies, and resources to promote the development of the press, contributing to building a press team that is increasingly steadfast in political will, professional expertise, and professional ethics, and fulfilling the requirement of "Building a professional, humane, and modern press and media" in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

On this occasion, Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee will also summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 30-CT/TW of the Politburo on developing and strengthening the management of electronic press, social networks and other types of media on the Internet. Summarize the implementation of the Project "Planning for press development and management, associated with improving the quality of press activities by 2025" in Kien Giang province. Summarize 35 years of implementing the Kien Giang Provincial Press Awards. In addition, the province also organizes activities to show gratitude, remember the source of water.
