At the meeting, Ms. Le Hoang Oanh, Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), highly appreciated the key viewpoint of the new period of supporting women to start businesses, associated with the general trend of the world and Vietnam, which is digital transformation, green transformation, and sustainable development.
However, according to Ms. Le Hoang Oanh, the content related to digital transformation needs to be supplemented to make it clearer. Ms. Le Hoang Oanh made a number of suggestions and recommendations for building a Women Entrepreneurship Information Portal that should include information on online training, lessons, and lectures for women entrepreneurs; detailed information on projects and support policies for women entrepreneurs; sharing lessons learned, stories of women entrepreneurs, and models of women digital transformation and green transformation in business.
In addition, to be more effective in communication in the digital age, it is also necessary to consider building Facebook, Tiktok, and Zalo pages about the Women's Entrepreneurship Association to further spread the spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity among women.
Sharing the same view on the need to promote gender equality, innovation and digital transformation in activities to support women in starting a business, Master Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation, Hoa Binh University, emphasized that the highest goal of Project 939 Supporting Women in Starting a Business in the period of 2017 - 2025 is to create conditions for women to be economic masters, to encourage women to dare to think, dare to do, and to be equal in economic development.
However, women still face barriers in terms of psychology, capacity, qualifications, degrees, etc. To break down these barriers, it is necessary to equip women with knowledge and skills right from school; at the same time, it is necessary to transform digitally, increase the application of technology and organize courses in regions, creating opportunities for women to access digital transformation.
