The 9th session of the 4th term of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council will consider and discuss 19 proposals, projects, and draft resolutions submitted by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee related to the fields of economy, finance, budget, investment and development, culture, education, health, ethnic affairs, internal affairs, and justice; and hear a report from the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the results of its activities in participating in government building, summarizing opinions and recommendations of voters and local people in 2024.

The session will also consider reports on the results of monitoring the resolution of voters' petitions; reports submitted to the session by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Committees of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial People's Procuratorate, and the Provincial Civil Enforcement Department; and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's report on the results of its activities in participating in government building, summarizing opinions and recommendations of voters and local people in 2024.

The session will also conduct questioning of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, members of the Provincial People's Committee, and relevant agencies under the supervision of the Provincial People's Council on issues of concern and feedback from delegates, voters, and the people; carry out procedures for dismissing the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and dismiss and elect additional members of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term according to authority.

In his opening remarks at the session, Comrade Luu Van Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council, emphasized that this session is of great importance. The Provincial People's Council will discuss and decide on many issues to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles in mechanisms and policies, unlock resources, overcome bottlenecks, and serve the socio-economic development of the province and ensure the well-being of the people.

To ensure the session successfully completes its agenda, the Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council requested that delegates uphold a high sense of responsibility, actively study and discuss, and contribute many ideas to the session's content. This is based on the results of the 18th Conference of the Provincial Party Committee, the report of the Provincial People's Committee on the results of implementing economic, social, budget, and public investment targets and tasks in 2024, and the actual situation of the province.

Provincial People's Council delegates need to focus their discussions and contributions on the appropriateness, feasibility, and effectiveness of mechanisms and policies; and their consistency and synchronization with legal regulations in order to leverage resources, potential, and strengths, seize development opportunities, and successfully implement the socio-economic development tasks for 2025 and the entire 2021-2025 period, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Provincial Party Congress.
The 9th session of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council, 4th term, 2021-2026, will take place over three days, from December 9-11, 2024.
