Signing of cooperation agreement between Ha Tinh and Trnava autonomous region

The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province and the government of the Trnava autonomous region of the Republic of Slovakia have signed an agreement on economic , trade, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation, opening up many opportunities for future development.

Continuing the working program, on the afternoon of November 30th, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province and the government of the Trnava autonomous region – Republic of Slovakia held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement in various fields.

Representing the Trnava Autonomous Region were Mr. Jozep Vikupic, the regional chairman, and members of the delegation.

Representing Ha Tinh province were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Nguyen Hong Linh, Tran Bau Ha, Le Ngoc Chau; Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thang - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; and leaders of various departments and agencies, as well as representatives from several businesses in the area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai emphasized: "Nearly two months ago, we had a successful meeting and cooperation exchange in Trnava. We always appreciate and highly value the sentiments and hospitality of the leaders of the Trnava region and believe that the relationship and cooperation between the Trnava region and Ha Tinh province will be further strengthened and developed."

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai delivered a speech at the signing ceremony.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also provided further information on the development situation and potential strengths of Ha Tinh province. Accordingly, the province currently has nearly 1,500 projects, including more than 1,400 domestic projects and 69 FDI projects. In recent times, the province has always focused on improving the investment and business environment, concentrating on attracting investment with a priority on foreign projects.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed that the two sides agree to sign an agreement on economic, trade, scientific , technical, and cultural cooperation, and expressed his hope that Trnava would support Ha Tinh in introducing, promoting, and attracting investment to businesses in Slovakia and other European countries; support research into the market demand of the Slovak Republic for key products in which the province has export advantages; and connect Ha Tinh businesses to cooperate in business and investment with Trnava businesses and partners in the Slovak Republic.

Strengthening cooperation in education and training, science and technology, and human resource supply to serve the socio-economic development of both sides; supporting Vietnamese expatriates and people from Ha Tinh living in Trnava and other regions of the Republic of Slovakia to have stable and prosperous lives.

Expressing his pleasure at visiting and working in Ha Tinh, Mr. Jozep Vikupic - Chairman of the Trnava region - highly appreciated the socio-economic development of Ha Tinh, especially the work of attracting investment with many large projects coming into effective operation.

Mr. Jozep Vikupic also provided an overview of the history, culture, education, economic development, and strengths of the Trnava region.

The Chairman of the Trnava region emphasized: "I am confident that cooperation between Trnava and Ha Tinh will not only be in the fields of culture and education but also in the exchange of experiences and scientific advancements in the future. The signing of this cooperation agreement will bring positive and practical results, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people of both sides. I hope that the relationship between Trnava and Ha Tinh will become increasingly strong and that the cooperation will produce good results."

Exchange views and information on issues related to international relations, socio-economic development, international cooperation, and other matters of public interest.

Cooperation in developing bilateral diplomatic relations, culture, tourism, social affairs, economy and trade, education and research, transportation, and regional and international development.

Supporting the development of cooperation between organizations and workplaces in fields such as academia, engineering, science, and innovation.

Organize exchange programs for young professionals and students from both sides with the aim of developing the professional skills of this workforce.
