On December 8, the National Assembly entered its 8th working week - the last working week of the final session of the 15th term.
Along with reviewing and discussing many important contents, this week, the National Assembly will vote to pass a huge number of laws and resolutions. On the closing day alone, National Assembly deputies will vote to pass 33 laws and resolutions - a record number, the largest ever. The day before, 29 laws and resolutions were also considered and passed by the National Assembly.
In the last working week of the session, the National Assembly will listen to and discuss the adjustment of the content of Resolution No. 94 of the National Assembly on the investment policy of Long Thanh International Airport; a number of specific mechanisms and policies applicable to the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis; the investment policy for the Gia Binh International Airport construction investment project and the Vinh - Thanh Thuy expressway.

The amendment and supplement to Resolution No. 170 of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Khanh Hoa will also be put on the agenda of the National Assembly.
This week, National Assembly deputies will also discuss the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to implement major projects in the capital; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 98 on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 136 on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city.
The Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Value Added Tax; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the mechanism and policy for national energy development in the 2026-2030 period, are also important contents put on the agenda in the last working week of the 10th session.
Along with that, the National Assembly discussed work reports of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy; crime prevention and control work and law violations; execution work; corruption prevention and control work in 2025; results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly and results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens in 2025.
In addition, the National Assembly has a separate meeting agenda on implementing the Politburo 's conclusion on the policy and handling plan for the Southern Pulp Mill project.
During the last two days of the session, the National Assembly devoted all its time to voting on draft laws and resolutions.
The National Assembly is expected to pass more than 40 laws, including the Law on Civil Servants (amended); the Law on Tax Administration (amended); the Law on Personal Income Tax (amended); the Law on Saving and Anti-Waste; the Law on Planning (amended); the Law on Deposit Insurance (amended); the Law on Population; and the Law on Cyber Security.
Laws related to education include the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Education; the Law on Vocational Education (amended); the Law on Higher Education (amended), along with a number of new laws such as the Law on E-commerce; the Law on Digital Transformation, the Law on Artificial Intelligence, the Law on Specialized Courts at the International Financial Center, etc., which will also be considered and approved by the National Assembly.

Along with that, the National Assembly voted to pass many important resolutions such as the Resolution on adjusting the National Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050; the Resolution of the National Assembly stipulating a number of mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles in organizing the implementation of the Land Law; the Resolution of the National Assembly on the investment policy for the Gia Binh International Airport construction investment project.
Resolution on a number of specific and outstanding mechanisms and policies to make breakthroughs in education and training development; Resolution on investment policy for the National Target Program on modernization and improvement of education and training quality for the 2026-2035 period; Resolution of the National Assembly on a number of breakthrough mechanisms and policies for the protection, care and improvement of people's health; Resolution on investment policy for the National Target Program on health care, population and development for the 2026-2035 period, are also important contents that will be passed in the last working week of the National Assembly at this session.
