First time to practice the entire parade block

On the morning of April 28, at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, all 51 units participating in the parade and marching in the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory held their first joint training.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense chaired the joint training session.

At the first joint training session of all blocks, the Army block had 16 blocks, the Police block had 8 blocks, and the remaining 27 blocks were other forces such as: Veterans, women, youth, intellectuals...

At exactly 7:30, the training session began with a flag-raising ceremony and a military band. At 7:45, helicopters flying the Party and national flags and ground parades began to move past the main stage. The total time of the first training session lasted about 90 minutes.

In addition to the Army units that conducted their first joint training in Dien Bien on the morning of April 26, this morning, many new parade units of the Police force officially appeared, such as: Female Special Police Unit; Mobile Police Cavalry Unit; Female Traffic Police Unit...

Encouraging the cadres of the parade and marching groups after the training session, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong asked the groups to overcome difficulties and share with Dien Bien province the difficulties in the material facilities. The harsh weather and prolonged heat made the training difficult, however, the celebration was an important event for the whole country and the whole nation, so the members participating in the celebration needed to promote the spirit of overcoming difficulties, multiplying their pride to perform successfully on the great holiday of May 7.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong noted that all levels and sectors should proactively overcome difficulties and create maximum conditions for officers and soldiers to participate in the celebration; required the blocs to strictly manage the number of troops, strictly observe discipline, unite among blocs and unite with the people in their localities.
