Now in its 12th year, the festival continues to affirm K-pop's appeal to Vietnamese youth. From a spontaneous gathering of the Korean music loving community, the program has become an annual event attracting tens of thousands of participants each year. This year, the event promises to be even more spectacular with a series of diverse activities.
Experiential zones such as decorating K-pop merchandise, dancing K-pop with AI, singing like idols; exploring Korean tourism … will be open on both days, offering many attractive options for attendees.
In particular, the two nights at 7 PM are unmissable highlights, featuring 10 outstanding dance groups from all three regions of Vietnam, performing stunning cover routines under the guidance of dancer Yechan from 1Million Dance Studio (Korea) and singer My Anh.
In particular, the two nights of performances will feature a stage steeped in K-pop spirit, the most anticipated event of the year for the K-pop community.
At 7 PM on July 19th (Saturday), 10 of the most talented dance groups (from the K-pop Cover Dance Festival 2025) selected from Hanoi, Da Nang , and Ho Chi Minh City will have the opportunity to unleash their passion for K-pop through impressive K-pop cover dance performances with choreographer/dancer Yechan (Korea) from 1Million Dance Studio - the studio that has produced numerous famous dance routines for top Korean singers and groups - and singer My Anh (Vietnam).
At 7 PM on Sunday, July 20th, 13 outstanding young people selected from Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City to perform K-pop will have the opportunity to showcase their talent on a big stage alongside famous Vietnamese singers such as Lam Bao Ngoc and Cong B.
At the end of the program, the best performing group among the 10 groups in the singing category will be selected to participate in the K-pop Cover Dance Festival World Final 2025, organized by Seoul Newspaper, scheduled to take place in September in Seoul, South Korea.
Choi Seung Jin, Director of the Korean Cultural Center, said: “I hope this year’s festival will be a place to connect the K-pop loving community and become an attractive cultural meeting point on weekends in Hanoi.” Admission is completely free.
