The People's Committee of Tien Yen district has just issued plan 265/KH-UBND on organizing the Golden Harvest Festival of Dai Duc palm trees in 2024.
Accordingly, the festival will take place in Dai Duc commune with many rich and unique activities such as: San Chi folk song exchange, cultural exchange and spinning top game at Khe Lac terraced rice fields, experiencing tourist destinations associated with the golden season, ethnic sports competitions, exchange and display of local agricultural and forestry products, reenactment of harvest prayer rituals, fast rice pounding and cooking of Bao Thai rice in clay pots competition, display of San Chi ethnic feast trays, San Chi women's football exchange, and experiencing Soong Co regional cuisine.
This is a practical activity aimed at restoring and promoting tourism development after typhoon No. 3, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the cultural identity of ethnic groups in Tien Yen district, and implementing Resolution 17-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee dated October 30, 2023, on building and promoting the cultural values and human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource and driving force for rapid and sustainable development.
