Mazda offers digital rearview mirror option

Báo Xây dựngBáo Xây dựng16/08/2024

Digital rearview mirrors were once only available on expensive luxury cars. However, they are becoming more common, and Mazda has added the technology to some of its models.

Digital rearview mirror is a combination of high resolution camera with rearview mirror integrated LCD screen that displays image from camera.

They allow the driver to easily observe the area behind the car without being obstructed by objects or people in the back seat. When not in use, the driver just needs to press a button to switch to a regular mirror.

The Japanese automaker is rolling out this feature as an optional extra on select SUV models.

Owners can order this equipment on the CX-90 and the CX-70 model about to launch in Australia. The suggested installation price is 2,568 AUD (about 42.5 million VND) and can be ordered at the official dealer.

Digital cameras will be warranted for 5 years, unlimited kilometers if pre-ordered at the time of purchase. In case of installation after purchase, the product is warranted for only 2 years.

Mazda also offers a range of genuine accessories for the Australian market. For example, on the CX-90, the list of accessories includes a lighted skid plate, a roof rack, a roof-mounted bike rack and an electric trailer brake controller.
